Cristina Vasquez, AMFT

Hola and Welcome! I’m a bilingual (English and Spanish) Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor based in Southern California. I obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University in 2024. For over eight years, I have experience working in crisis stabilization units, home and school interventions, psychiatric hospitals and residential care facilities. I’ve worked with children and adults struggling with anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, family conflicts, PTSD and trauma.

My mission is to create a welcoming and safe environment where we build trust and rapport. I understand for therapy to be effective it starts with the foundation of trust, allowing us to work collaboratively towards the individual’s growth and development. You can expect acceptance, compassion, and empathy during each session.

We are all unique individuals with different experiences. Working collaboratively, we will uncover the tools and strategies necessary to help you reach your full potential. Please reach out for a 15-minute consultation call to find out more and to determine if we would be a good fit.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and systemic, drawing from Strategic, Structural, Adlerian, and Narrative Family Therapy models. I treat each client with unconditional positive regard, firmly believing in the inherent potential for growth and change within every individual.

Together, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth.
