Jaqueline Gilham, AMFT
I am Jaqueline Gilham, a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University, School of Counseling and Behavioral Health (June 2024). My clinical experience is rooted in supporting pediatric patients and families navigating the challenges of chronic illness. Through this work, I have developed a deep understanding of the emotional complexities—such as anxiety, depression, and guilt—that often accompany chronic health conditions.
I prioritize immediate crisis identification and stress management to help mitigate the harmful effects of prolonged stress on the body, which can further complicate illness. My goal is to provide a relaxed and supportive environment where clients feel safe to engage in meaningful, in-depth conversations.
As a therapist, I am committed to helping clients uncover the “missing links” in their emotional patterns and fostering the development of personalized, healthy, and adaptive responses. I understand the challenges of maintaining emotional stability and balance and strive to guide my clients toward achieving long-term emotional health.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and systemic, drawing from Strategic, Structural, Adlerian, and Narrative Family Therapy models. I treat each client with unconditional positive regard, firmly believing in the inherent potential for growth and change within every individual.
Together, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth.
